Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering top-tier experiences to our clients when they need it most. Your primary responsibility will be to compassionately assist clients in navigating various post-order issues, such as shipping questions, damages, returns, replacements, assembly services, and order notifications. You will be the voice of Wayfair, working to build relationships with clients who reach out to us via inbound calls, chats, and emails. Your goal will be to provide personalized solutions that meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

  • Handle a high volume of contacts, approximately 50-60 calls per shift, in a fast-paced and highly organized environment
  • Meet our superior performance bar by exceeding customer satisfaction, succeeding in gathering client support productivity metrics, and fulfilling other duties as assigned
  • Professionally connect with clients, listening effectively and showing empathy to understand their concerns and provide tailored solutions
  • De-escalate client concerns using your peace promotion skills, aligning the needs of the client with the options available from the business while remaining calm and composed
  • Think critically to resolve client issues in a first-contact resolution approach, without relying on pre-populated scripts
  • Be educated and adaptable, navigating multiple programs, tabs, tools, and screens to quickly and accurately answer questions
  • Identify areas for improvement and offer suggestions to leadership, contributing to the continuous growth and development of our client care team

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend both languages
  • Proficiency in working with Windows Operating Systems or similar technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple contacts and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on providing personalized solutions
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to learn and navigate new programs and tools

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and technologies
  • Experience with CRM software or similar tools
  • Certifications or training in customer service, communication, or a related field
