Key Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer on our SOC Engineering team, you will be responsible for: * Ensuring the general health and availability of our PACS and other security-related systems * Creating and maintaining availability and performance metrics to measure system health * Troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating with internal clients to resolve operational challenges * Automating routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors * Architecting and implementing new solutions to support future growth and scalability * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new systems * Developing and maintaining documentation for our systems and processes * Participating in 24/7 on-call rotations to ensure continuous availability and support

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in an related field (e.g., systems engineering, computer science, information technology) * 5+ years of experience with Windows Server and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.) * 3+ years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) * 2+ years of scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, etc.) * Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues * Strong oral and written communication skills * Experience with documentation and knowledge management

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, information technology, computer science, or related field * 5+ years of experience with networking and exposure to primary principles and troubleshooting connectivity issues * 3+ years of experience with AWS Services * 3+ years of experience with physical access control systems (Lenel, RedCloud, etc.) * 1+ years of experience with Linux systems management and/or related development * Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, EC2, VPC, etc.) * Proven ability to work in a 24/7 online environment
