As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll play a critical role in leading our Trust and Security team to achieve this goal. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify, prevent, and mitigate adversarial abuse, as well as driving business growth and innovation through data-driven insights.

About the Role

As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading a team of experts in adversarial abuse and analytics. You'll work closely with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Design, and Strategy, to develop and implement strategies to combat adversarial abuse. Your team will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and mitigating emerging threats, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse
  • Developing and implementing data-driven strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse
  • Collaborating with the Business Intelligence team to analyze data and develop insights to inform business decisions
  • Working with the Product Management team to develop and implement new features and tools to combat adversarial abuse
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry partners

Responsibilities

* Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating emerging threats, including account takeovers, spam, and commitment misuse

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to prevent and mitigate adversarial abuse
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to analyze data and develop insights to inform business decisions
  • Work with the Product Management team to develop and implement new features and tools to combat adversarial abuse
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and industry partners
  • Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times to circle back, provide data-driven insights, and implement solutions
  • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team, and develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)

  • 4+ years of experience in a related field, including 2+ years of experience in adversarial abuse and analytics
  • Proven track record of success in managing high-performing teams and developing strategies to combat complex threats
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights to inform business decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Experience with SQL, R, and/or Matlab
  • Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)

  • 2+ years of experience in investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and innovation through data-driven insights
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on innovation and excellence
