As a Fall 2023 Teacher Tutor for Grades K-6, you'll play a vital role in shaping young minds and making a lasting impact on their educational journey.

About the Role

We're seeking credentialed US teachers to join our community of educators and provide small group instruction virtually to students across the country. As a part-time virtual tutor, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere and choose your own schedule. Our current needs include tutors available for engagements starting soon, specifically on Mondays - Fridays during the hours of 3:00pm - 4:00pm ET // 2:00pm - 3:00pm CT // 1:00pm - 2:00pm MT // 12:00pm - 1:00pm PT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual ELA and Math tutoring to students in grades K-6
• Deliver high-quality instruction and support to students in a virtual setting
• Utilize Google Classroom and Zoom to facilitate online learning
• Collaborate with other tutors and educators to advance equity in education
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential in the United States
• Experience teaching K-12 ELA and/or Math in a classroom setting
• Experience teaching in an online environment
• Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with remediation, intervention, or small group instruction
• SPED or ELL teaching experience
• AP course experience (any APs)
• Dedication to advancing equity in schools

What We Offer

Competitive Compensation and Benefits:

• $36.00 per hour of tutoring (on a prorated basis) plus a 10% bonus for light preparation
