Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a 3/3 load of introductory and intermediate-level courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and/or econometrics in a large class environment
• Work collaboratively with a team of instructors to develop and deliver high-quality educational experiences for students
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote academic success
• Contribute to the development of curriculum and course materials
• Participate in departmental and university-wide events, including academic and professional development opportunities
• Demonstrate a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community

Essential Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Economics or a related field by the appointment date
• Strong teaching record, with experience teaching large classes
• Ability to effectively communicate complex economic concepts to students at various levels

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with curriculum development and course design
