Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, individualized math instruction in a group setting, ensuring each student receives the support they need to succeed.
• Assess student learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to optimize student outcomes.
• Communicate student progress effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed and involved in their child's educational journey.
• Teach and tutor students using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices, both in-center and through online or hybrid delivery models.
• Become proficient in the use of digital educational materials and processes, staying up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies in math education.
• Support the maintenance of a safe, professional, and welcoming learning environment that encourages students to explore and learn.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of the learning center.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel as a Lead Math Instructor / Tutor at Mathnasium of South Ogden, you'll need:

• A genuine passion for math and a desire to share this passion with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• An eagerness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method™ and other teaching methodologies.
