Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family care services, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions, health counseling, and disease prevention for our patients.
• Assume administrative responsibilities, such as opening and closing the facility, managing inventory, patient flow, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and implement patient care plans, perform routine assessments, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Perform various medical procedures, including vaccinations, injections, and diagnostic tests.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Have at least two years of relevant medical experience or equivalent.
• Hold a graduate degree in Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Studies with current national board certification and licensure to practice in the advanced practice role.
• Complete the required certification exam within 30 days of hire.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and automated external defibrillator (AED) operation.
• Be able to pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

• Less than one year of work experience as a licensed provider: prior student precepting experience with MinuteClinic is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish.
