Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator at blithequark, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our online community. You will be responsible for moderating our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules. This is a part-time, remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules.

• Delete messages made by users that violate the rules of the Discord server.
• Ban users that have multiple and repeat violations of the rules of the Discord server.
• Mute users that have violated the rules of the Discord server.
• Investigate reports made by users about violations of the rules of the Discord server.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve conflicts and ensure a positive community experience.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
