Key Responsibilities and Duties

In this part-time role, you'll be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing laboratory specimens, ensuring accurate and timely routing for testing
• Data entering lab requests, verifying test orders, and identifying instances requiring corrective action
• Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhering to PPE requirements
• Championing safety, compliance, and quality control measures to maintain the highest standards
• Contributing to the patient care process, even if not directly face-to-face

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key skills
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you have:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a production environment
