Job Description

As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing, editing, and updating data in our databases and computer systems. You will work under 4 hours per weekend, with a competitive hourly rate and a host of benefits, including health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inputting customer and account data from source documents within time limits

• Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
• Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities
• Creating and managing spreadsheets with large numbers of figures
• Using data entry software to record, store, and analyze information

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a data entry specialist or similar position

• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets
• Proficient touch typing skills
• Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Educational Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

• Degree in a related field would be a plus

Experience:

* Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential, as we will provide paid training
