About the Role

As a customer service representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for assisting passengers with reservations, inquiries, and various travel-related concerns. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for travel, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Complete data access and balancing tasks
  • Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
  • Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Work on member cases and tasks assigned
  • Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
  • Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
  • Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
  • Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Complete daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
  • Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
  • Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers
  • Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws
  • Deposit check returns, research member bad checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers
  • Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous customer/member service experience
  • Previous banking or Credit Union experience
  • Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and members
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
