Responsibilities

As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Data Entry and Management: Inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating customer and account information, and ensuring the accuracy of digital databases.
  • Customer Support: Updating order statuses for customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Data Verification: Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if possible, and checking the output to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and Documentation: Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents, and storing completed work in designated locations.
  • Reporting and Backup: Generating reports, performing backup operations, and ensuring the security of digital data.
  • Administrative Tasks: Scanning documents, printing files, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excellent typing skills, familiarity with database management tools, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Basic Knowledge of Touch Typing System: Familiarity with the touch typing system and the ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all work.
  • Experience: While experience working in a Data Entry Clerk position is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate.
