What You'll Be Doing

As a Remote Member/Customer Services Advocate, you'll be working directly with blithequark members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing them with an outstanding experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional service: Building trust and creating sustainable relationships with members through open and interactive communication
• Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills: Researching and communicating solutions in a variety of situations
• Effectively handling customer concerns: Utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes
• Confidentially handling policy owner information: Ensuring compliance and communication standards are met
• Collaborating with internal teams: Ensuring thorough and timely resolutions for all members

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service related position: Where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
• Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Technical aptitude: Experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired
• Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations: Policies and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred
• Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework: Preferred
• High School Diploma: Required; some college level coursework preferred
• Internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload: Must be able to support a VPN
