Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Receptionist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers and visitors, answering calls on a multi-extension phone system, and transferring calls as appropriate
  • Assisting customers with entry-level support for their service calls, including troubleshooting and resolving basic issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and service requests
  • Collaborating with the customer service team to resolve complex issues and provide timely support
  • Performing general receptionist duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling mail and packages
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school education or equivalent
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel or similar computer programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on finding creative solutions to customer issues

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role
  • Knowledge of telecommunications services and products
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
