Objectives of this Role

As a Data Entry Assistant, your primary objectives will be to optimize operational efficiency, recommend data management solutions, and ensure the usability of data entry software and equipment. You will also be responsible for handling requests for data from managers and employees, achieving organizational goals, and adhering to best practices.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and inputting data into our proprietary database, and verifying the accuracy of valuable company information
  • Reviewing data for errors or redundancies, making corrections, and checking outputs
  • Researching information needed for completing documents with minimal oversight
  • Analyzing and using data from automated information aggregators to update the database
  • Creating systems and processes to efficiently capture information, and coaching team members on usage
  • Generating reports, storing outputs in the database, and performing backups
  • Scanning and printing files when requested

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in data entry, preferably in a proprietary database environment
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Fast typing ability, with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and online forms, including data entry software and equipment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information and handle sensitive data with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, with a focus on team-based data management and analysis
  • Knowledge of data management principles and best practices, including data quality and integrity
