Job Summary

As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and developing actionable insights to inform business decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and optimize operational efficiency. With your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and communication, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of our business and driving success across multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble comprehensive analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provide critical support to business operations and decision-making

• Answer business-critical questions and provide expert knowledge on various product streams on D+ and Hulu to enhance customer experiences and drive conversions
• Advance the scientific capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver exceptional data insights and products
• Utilize data perception tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data
• Employ clear and inferential statistics (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Factor Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business impact across the organization

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, etc.)

• 3+ years of professional experience as an analyst in an analytics and data science space with expertise in SQL, Python, or R for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with data at scale
• Experience delivering end-to-end analysis projects: taking them from unclear requirements to a compelling story, open across different audiences, and eventually to a clear business outcome
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners, and present to senior leadership

Good to Have

* Master's degree in a quantitative field

• Demonstrated data analysis skills with tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
• Experience with marketing landing pages, join channels, and business spaces
• Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management
• Counseling background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Humor and creativity
• Remarkable interests or areas of expertise that impact the way you interact with others and tackle business challenges
