Job Summary

As a Customer Contact Center Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting student borrowers with their queries, providing detailed information, processing applications, and resolving emerging problems with accuracy and efficiency. You will be the face of blithequark, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every interaction is positive, professional, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

* Take incoming calls, use chat, and complete outbound calls as necessary to assist customers with answering frequent questions, providing detailed information, and processing applications

  • Practice active listening, empathy, and clear communication with customers in a positive and professional manner
  • Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, and documentation of calls
  • Assist callers with filling out their application and submitting it electronically to the plan provider for processing
  • Complete basic call log, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry
  • Navigate to pre-scripted responses and provide basic general and claims-specific information
  • Utilize standard technology, such as a telephone, email, and web browser

Schedule

* Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm

  • Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
  • Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm
  • Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm
  • Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm

Preferred Skills

* High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently
  • Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
  • Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system
  • Ability to effectively work within established key performance indicators/metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks

Requirements

* Ability to navigate various systems and browsers

  • Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of contact center technology
  • Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Excel and Word
  • Excellent command of the English language, effective use of grammar skills
  • Excellent communication etiquette
  • Great customer service skills, including personalization, competence, patience, politeness, and initiative-taking
