About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring each interaction is handled with respect, patience, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist customers with medical insurance questions, providing accurate and helpful information to resolve their concerns
  • Accurately document call content in real-time, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with customers, ensuring a positive experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns, promoting a culture of customer-centricity

Schedule and Training

The schedule for this role will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Initially, you will undergo comprehensive training, which will take place Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM, for approximately the first two weeks. Please note that rotating holidays may be required, and flexibility is essential to ensure seamless customer support.

Compensation and Benefits

At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Pay: $16.20/hr
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, and PTO available, ensuring you and your loved ones are protected and supported

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be a New York State resident to be considered for this role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to accurately document customer interactions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment
  • Familiarity with medical insurance and healthcare industry terminology
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer base
