Job Summary

As a Remote Auto Supplement Writer, you will play a critical role in creating and auditing comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto and specialty lines. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient claims processing, providing technical support, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities

* Create and audit estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto and specialty lines * Possess strong estimating fundamentals to accurately assess damages * Develop a deep understanding of policy types written by the company * Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document activities * Evaluate settlement alternatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and fair claims practices * Provide technical assistance and training to team members * Maintain high-quality standards and ensure accuracy in claims processing

Requirements and Qualifications

* Essential Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience in material damage claims and estimates + Strong understanding of estimating fundamentals and claims processing + Excellent communication and negotiation skills + Ability to work independently in a remote environment * Preferred Qualifications: + 4-year Bachelor's Degree + Experience in the insurance industry + Knowledge of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
