Job Overview

As a Data Entry Specialist (Typist), you will play a vital role in our mission by accurately entering data into our QuickClaim system sourced from a continuous influx of images. You will work closely with our team to identify various document types, review and validate entered data, and uphold the confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in adherence to HIPAA regulations. Your exceptional attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and commitment to maintaining client data confidentiality will be essential in ensuring the high-quality standards of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

* Accurately enter data into our QuickClaim system sourced from a continuous influx of images

  • Identify various document types as per the provided guidelines
  • Review and validate entered data to ensure compliance with our high-quality standards
  • Uphold the confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) in adherence to HIPAA regulations
  • Engage professionally with colleagues as required
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for process enhancements
  • Ensure the completion of all assigned tasks efficiently on a daily basis
  • Execute additional basic office duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Proficient in reading and communicating in English
  • Typing proficiency of 50 words per minute with 95% accuracy and 4,500 keystrokes per hour at 95% accuracy

* Previous experience in data entry or a related field

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation and Benefits

* Hourly Pay: $12 per hour

  • Available Shifts: Flexible part-time and full-time positions, with a preference for full-time, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Shift Hours: Flexible work hours available from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday
