The Role: Sales Professional

As a Sales Professional, you will play a critical role in our team, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions. You will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing our exclusive warm lead program to contact clients who have requested protection plan information
  • Gathering pertinent information from clients to customize their protection plans
  • Researching protection plan options and presenting findings to clients
  • Following up with clients within one to two days on research results, either in person, over the phone, or virtually
  • Consulting with clients on plan suitability for their specific needs
  • Assisting clients in the plan application process
  • Applying on behalf of clients to the appropriate carrier for final approval
  • Contacting carriers for the status of applications
  • Following up with clients on carrier decisions

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Be a U.S. legal resident
  • Obtain state life and health insurance license (we provide support and resources to help you achieve this)
  • Be proficient in using phone, laptop or desktop computer, and printer
  • Be able to virtually attend weekly meetings (occasionally in person) for sales training, mentorship, and business building
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Have a strong desire to learn and grow in the insurance industry

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service
  • Familiarity with insurance products and industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
