Job Summary
As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in helping us drive business decisions through data-driven insights. You'll work closely with our content team to analyze large-scale, high-layered data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop actionable recommendations to inform our content strategy. Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-layered data sets to inform business decisions
- Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing preferences, viewing patterns) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Forecast content engagement to inform purchasing decisions
- Enhance our content launch and episode release strategy
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and key navigation
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Experience in statistical analysis and AI techniques: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Good TO-HAVES
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- An enthusiasm for media and entertainment
