About the Position

As a Social Media Strategy & Activation Manager III, you will lead segments within our in-house paid social media strategy and activation team, focusing on enhancing the digital marketing efforts for Disney Parks. This role emphasizes team leadership, innovation in social media strategies, and collaboration across various departments to optimize performance and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead paid social strategy for key segments within Parks and Resorts, driving engagement and revenue growth through data-driven insights and creative campaign development

  • Improve dynamic strategies within social platforms, staying ahead of the curve in terms of platform updates, trends, and best practices
  • Support team members in influencing organization-wide adoption of social media best practices, ensuring consistency and excellence across all digital channels
  • Lead conversations to drive innovation across analytics and testing, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign performance
  • Own key social media activation platform tools, including future partnership additions, and work with teams to identify and design (or use 3rd party) tools to improve efficiency
  • Partner across teams, organizations, and companies (media partners and agency) to improve overall technical setup and inter-departmental workflow, fostering collaboration and driving results

Requirements

* 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on social media strategy and activation

  • Proven ability to guide direct reports to technical and personal growth, with a track record of developing and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Extensive experience with social media platforms and related tools, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Understanding of holistic business trends and the impacts of these trends in the digital and social space, with a keen eye for emerging opportunities and challenges
  • Strong grasp on how to develop holistic paid social strategies, leveraging data and creativity to drive engagement and revenue growth
  • Comfort with a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and make strategic decisions with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity and ability to maximize team's use of work management platforms such as Workfront, Smart Sheets, etc.

* Any Marketing, Business, Social Media, Analytics, or Statistics degree/background is a plus, demonstrating a strong foundation in digital marketing principles and practices
