What You'll Do
As a key member of our legal team, you'll:
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of high-value real estate contracts, including purchase/sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
- Conduct meticulous due diligence to uncover risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Review title documents and perform title searches to guarantee clean property transfers.
- Advise clients on development projects, zoning laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee closing procedures, ensuring every legal detail is flawlessly executed.
- Counsel clients on risk mitigation strategies and financial structuring.
- Stay ahead of legal trends and market shifts to provide forward-thinking guidance.
What You Bring
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New York (or ability to obtain).
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in real estate transactional law.
- Deep expertise in contract negotiation, title review, leasing, and financing.
- Commercial real estate experience is a strong plus.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.
