Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Material Attendant to join our team at Walt Disney World Resorts. As a Material Attendant, you'll be responsible for receiving, storing, and loading inventory, utilizing handheld technology to track and manage stock levels. You'll work closely with our logistics team to ensure that our resorts are well-stocked and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities

As a Material Attendant, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Receiving and stocking products using a handheld device
  • Palletizing and transporting material
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks using a forklift
  • Reviewing incoming and active materials, checking for damage
  • Stocking or counting material and inputting data into the SAP stock management system
  • Tracking and maintaining accurate stock counts within recommended levels and keeping parts and equipment areas clean and organized
  • Appropriately completing and handling requests to order essential stock
  • Naming, sorting, and wrapping packaging material
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, and twist to manage stock
  • Project personnel may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, goggles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a Material Attendant, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Knowledge of SAP, Maximo, and the purchasing/receiving process
  • Ability to set up stock, minimum/maximum counts, and maintaining stock
  • Successfully complete all required training, including the use of powered industrial trucks, (e.g., forklifts and Power Bed Jacks,) and safety training like Hazardous materials and Security Moving
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • Past warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of operating powered industrial trucks
  • Past Wi-Fi handheld device experience
