Experienced IT Support Technician – Data Entry and Remote Access Specialist

As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for resolving and closing tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals, answering client care issues raised from the Helpdesk, and collaborating with other departments to address system-related issues. You will also be responsible for maintaining remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability, as well as remote and broadband network access for workstations.
What You'll Do
* Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals
- Answer client care issues raised from the Helpdesk
- Collaborate with other departments to address system-related issues
- Maintain remote access for VPN availability, as well as remote and broadband network access for workstations
- Recover data from hard drives or perform data relocation
- Introduce and design local and network-based printers
- Perform safeguard support
- Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be prepared to travel as required
All You'll Need for Success
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Software Engineering, Data Systems, or equivalent work experience and training
- 2 years of hands-on IT work experience supporting and resolving different PC workstation software and hardware issues
- First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment
- A+ certification
- MCSE/MCP or equivalent
- Past IT foundation experience in an aircraft/airport climate
- Familiarity with work process and tagging frameworks
- Knowledge of VPN networks and the ability to investigate issues
- Ability to work independently and act in a cooperative, team-based environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
