Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content Group. As a Data Analyst, you will apply advanced analytical methods to drive business decisions, uncover new insights, and shape the future of our content portfolio. You will work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies to improve engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) on large-scale, high-dimensional data to drive business decisions
- Investigate client behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, search queries) to identify untapped client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Predict content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve content launch and episode release methodologies
- Test marketing strategies to enhance engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical direction
- Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant findings through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
- Experience in machine learning and AI procedures: decision trees, regression, clustering, etc.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field
