The Role
As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you'll play a critical role in driving process improvements and ensuring accurate financial reporting for our organization. You'll work closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor and other accounting staff to achieve business objectives and drive forward process upgrades. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for ourselves and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
- Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders regarding significant accounting matters
- Perform special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

- Sharp business acumen and process-oriented
- Data-focused and unafraid to dig down to the lowest level of detail for truth and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, including strong proficiency in English
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset
- Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
