Experienced After-Hours Customer Service Representative – Elderly Home Based Care and Support

As an After-Hours Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and caregivers outside of regular business hours. With a 3-day working week of 4-hour shifts per day and a Saturday and Sunday shift of 12 hours per day, you will have the flexibility to balance your work and personal life while making a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities
As an After-Hours Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering all incoming calls and resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours
- Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform
- Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary
- Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start
- Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services
- Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed
- Completing non-urgent admin projects if time allows
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Fluent English: You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Compassionate and confident: You must be able to provide exceptional support and care to our clients, and be confident in your ability to handle challenging situations
- Responsible and reliable: You must be able to work independently and be responsible for your own work, with a strong sense of reliability and accountability
- 10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties: You must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in customer service and office duties, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours: You must be able to adapt to changing work schedules and be flexible regarding work hours
- Impeccable phone and computer skills: You must have excellent phone and computer skills, with the ability to navigate our platform and systems with ease
- Staffing and/or health care experience: You must have experience in staffing and/or health care, with a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges
- Experience working remotely and independently to the USA: You must have experience working remotely and independently to the USA, with a strong understanding of the time zones and cultural differences
- Quiet and professional work-from-home environment: You must be able to work from a quiet and professional home environment, with a reliable internet connection and a backup plan for load-shedding
