As an IT Chat Specialist, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch support and guidance to our customers as they navigate our online platform.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an IT Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

• Sharing your passion for our brand and products with customers, creating a contagious and engaging experience
• Utilizing our products and services to provide expert advice and guidance
• Familiarizing yourself with our brand site and media, as well as competitor products, to stay ahead of the curve
• Demonstrating empathy and understanding in stressful situations, providing a calming presence for our customers
• Collaborating with our team to develop and implement strategies that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in large corporate or hospital IT systems (a plus)
• Familiarity with top operating systems and brand environments
• A passion for helping others with large-scale electronic purchasing needs
• The ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner, tailored to the customer's knowledge level
• Strong typing skills (at least 35 wpm) and the ability to communicate effectively in text form
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations

Compensation and Perks

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you'll enjoy:

• Chat interactions paid out weekly on an hourly basis ($18-$22 per hour, based on experience and skill set)
• Immediate start upon completion of onboarding
• The flexibility to work remotely from anywhere with a stable internet connection

Technology Requirements

To ensure a seamless experience for our customers, you'll need:

• A desktop or laptop with Chrome browser (tablets and other mobile devices are not compatible at this time)
• A stable internet connection (we recommend at least a consistent 10mbps)
• Reliable sound output (either through built-in computer speakers or third-party speakers or headsets)
