Experienced Full Stack Chat Service Representative – E-commerce and Client Support

As a Full Stack Chat Service Representative, you'll be at the forefront of our customer service efforts, working closely with our Online Chat Manager and other team members to ensure that every customer interaction is a positive and memorable one.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Chat Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ years of experience in email, chat, and phone customer service
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in CRM software and online chat platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate customer interactions and escalate issues when necessary
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while also being a team player who collaborates with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of customer interactions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces
  • Knowledge of customer service software and tools, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, with the ability to track and measure customer service metrics
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
