Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk / Part-time, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Entering personal customer information into databases as collected upon forms or spreadsheets
- Reviewing all data for errors and reporting unusual findings to management
- Collecting and determining the completion of all information before entering data into software programs
- Scanning and printing required documents needed to collect information for data entry
- Working following privacy guidelines as dictated by state and federal law
- Generating weekly and monthly reports regarding sales information or areas to be improved upon
- Ensuring proper updates of required software and training new employees as needed on company processes
- Filing and organizing paperwork used to enter data into programs to keep a record of original documents
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree is required
- Knowledge of office computer systems and software
- Strong written and communication skills with clients and customers
- Experience working in data entry software and maintaining detailed information regarding available stock and supplies or other data
- Ability to effectively work within record software and update files accurately
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
- 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Excel
