Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our Inbound Transportation team on a remote basis. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy staying organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about helping things run smoothly. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering routing requests from our vendor booking system into OMS, organizing and assigning shipments to our carrier partners, and collaborating with transportation planning analysts to ensure the shipment process runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately entering routing requests from our vendor booking system into OMS
- Organizing and assigning shipments to our carrier partners
- Setting up new user accounts in the vendor booking system
- Maintaining an organized file of shipment data to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Collaborating with transportation planning analysts to keep the shipment process running smoothly
- Following best practices for data management and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Familiarity with Order Management Systems (OMS) and vendor booking systems
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of transportation management systems and logistics
- Certification in data entry or a related field
- Experience working with carrier partners and transportation planning analysts

Compensation and Benefits
