Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team, who will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends and patterns, and providing actionable insights to inform business decisions. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and optimize business processes. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing data-driven strategies that drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble comprehensive analyses, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting that provide critical support to business initiatives and decision-making processes.

• Respond to key business questions and provide expert knowledge on various business streams, including D+ and Hulu, to improve customer experiences and drive business growth.
• Advance the scientific capabilities of the business, collaborate in the design of analytical solutions, and deliver exceptional data insights and products.
• Utilize data visualization tools, SQL, and programming languages to access and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Apply statistical techniques (t-test, chi-square, ANOVA, correlation, Regression, Factor Analysis, etc.) to understand customer behavior and preferences, and drive business outcomes.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering)

• 3+ years of professional experience as a data analyst in an analytics and data science space with expertise in SQL, Python, or R for complex querying, high-level analysis, performance optimization, and working with large datasets.
• Experience in delivering end-to-end analysis projects: from unclear requirements to a compelling story, accessible to diverse audiences, and ultimately to a clear business outcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and oral) skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and technical partners.
• Ability to present to senior leadership.

Good to Have

* Master's degree in a quantitative field

• Demonstrated data visualization skills with tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, etc.
• Experience with marketing landing pages, join channels, and business spaces
• Ability to identify and properly escalate issues to management
• Consulting background, MBA, or other multi-industry experience
• Strong motivation and ability to work independently
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
