About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst - IT to join our Digital Technology team. As a data-driven leader, you will have a passion for data analysis, program execution, and process improvement. Your ability to dive into details, evaluate the big picture, and focus on process improvement will be essential to your success in this role. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams to drive business outcomes and improve functional excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty technology teams
  • Interpret data from various sources and identify patterns and trends to inform business decisions
  • Create streamlined and comprehensive data analysis workflows
  • Focus on areas such as data visualization, application performance analysis, error patterns, and top factors contributing to errors
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including proposals for performance and greater agility
  • Model and code data to create trusted data products, including dashboards and reporting items to support Digital Channels, Personalization, and Loyalty leadership
  • Collaborate with US and India Data Center teams to develop dashboards and track new platform updates and application releases
  • Convey and communicate updates to leadership, including assembling standard presentations

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science (Math, Statistics, or Economics)
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, analysis, and data engineering, with 3+ years in a Fortune 500 company
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce platform development
  • Experience building presentations for stakeholders and leaders and engaging with all levels of management
  • A genuine ability to create a vision, inspire the team towards that vision, and offer support to achieve it
  • Extensive experience with BI run boarding (e.g., PowerBI, Tibco Spotfire) to create meaningful, rich dashboards
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience analyzing e-commerce platforms for Web, Mobile Application, Loyalty, and demonstrated expertise in handling large datasets and social datasets (SQL and Non-SQL)
  • Ability to study/understand business needs, design data/technology metrics that connect business processes with quantifiable platform results, and grasp key metric/Objective Settings
  • Strong SQL skills and solid problem-solving abilities, using data to address issues
  • Remarkable writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:

  • A graduate degree in Computer Science, Aviation Management, or Operations Research
  • Software engineering, Information Systems, aviation management, or related degree, Operations Research, MBA
  • Google Data Analytics Professional Certification, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analysis, Enterprise Data Warehouse certifications, Palantir, Client-Side performance metrics tools (e.g., Quantum Metrics)
  • 4+ years in a lead role
  • Experience with Data Dog /App D/Kibana is a significant upside
  • Experience with Enterprise monitoring systems is a plus
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Past airline or travel industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with AWS - Redshift, QuickSight, Athena
  • Experience with BigQuery
  • Continuous integration and delivery using Agile methodologies
  • Regression analysis on performance predictions, exp. in multiple regression techniques
