About the Team

Our strategic civilian sales team is dedicated to retaining existing revenue, generating new business within existing accounts, and acquiring new business. As a Customer Administrative Specialist, you will join a team of experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional results and building strong customer relationships.

Job Summary

As a Customer Administrative Specialist, you will serve in a supporting role for Civilian Markets at the state and local levels. Your primary responsibilities will include making outbound sales contact, pursuing sales leads, accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation. You will also be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective customers, recording sales prospecting activity in Salesforce, and representing an assigned product line.

Key Responsibilities

* Making outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursuing sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers

  • Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation
  • Identifying and qualifying prospective customers as well as recording sales prospecting activity in Salesforce
  • Representing an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories, if applicable
  • Working with territory/account, product/services, or sales processes with limited complexity
  • Informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices
  • Maintaining communication with the Sales Director and Team Lead
  • Maintaining a proficient understanding of Accurint and the ability to demonstrate platform and discuss pricing plans

Qualifications

* Basic functional knowledge and skills in selling and account management as well as the ability to deepen your knowledge of products and solutions

  • Ability to develop an understanding of key business drivers and apply this knowledge to work
  • Ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing priorities and/or situations
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems
  • Ability to present information in an appropriate style and make technical information clear
  • Ability to persuade others/clients in standard situations
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

  • Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of key business drivers and market trends
  • Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and plans
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
