Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will work closely with our store team to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and provide a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer payments
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including counters, shelves, and displays
- Assist customers with product inquiries, returns, and exchanges
- Recommend products and services to customers, driving sales growth and increasing customer satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales goals and resolve customer issues
- Participate in visual merchandising, including constructing and maintaining displays
- Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers
Customer Experience
* Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
- Interact with customers in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience
Operations
* Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service
- Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items
- Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested
- Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
- Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records
- Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
- Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
- Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
Training & Personal Development
* Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Basic Qualifications
* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications
* Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer prior work experience with blithequark
- Prefer to be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
