Key Responsibilities

As a Web Chat Representative, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer chats in a quick and timely manner, providing accurate and helpful information to resolve their queries
  • Assessing customer needs via chat, engaging with questions, comments, and concerns to understand their requirements
  • Providing correct store contact information, phone number, manager name, etc. when needed, ensuring seamless communication between customers and our store personnel
  • Maintaining up-to-date product and pricing knowledge to offer informed advice and support to customers
  • Probing customer via chat engagement for sales opportunities, identifying potential leads and forwarding them to stores/managers via email
  • Handling customer issues or complaints in a positive and professional manner, resolving conflicts and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing tools such as the r2o website or search engines to gather the best information for the customer, ensuring accurate and helpful responses
  • Working within the policies, procedures, and ethics established by blithequark, upholding our company values and standards

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Web Chat Representative, you will need to possess:

  • General internet, web browsing, and email knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, handling 5-6 chats at a time with ease and urgency
  • Basic customer service skills, including conflict resolution, problem-solving, and professionalism
  • Proficient typing skills, with a minimum of 30+ WPM
  • Comfortable working on a computer, with a strong understanding of basic computer software and applications
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with a satisfactory work record and attendance
  • Dependability, reliability, and maturity to handle all types of conversations via chat in a responsible and professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Familiarity with live chat software and tools
