Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced QuickBooks Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Entering paper invoices and associated handwritten checks into QuickBooks, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized digital records that reflect outgoing payments, including tracking annual expenses and vendor information.
  • Generating reports in QuickBooks to track annual expenses, such as total spending on utilities and list of vendors.
  • Cross-referencing paper records with digital entries to ensure accuracy and maintain confidentiality.
  • Handling sensitive financial information with care and maintaining the highest level of professionalism.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks (1-2 years of experience working with similar ERPs) and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage physical and digital filing systems.
  • Prior AP / billing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of expense tracking and financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
