As an Operations Engineer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of MSP technology and making a lasting impact on our customers' lives.

A Day in the Life

As an Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects, deploying MSP solutions at both newly constructed sites and operational fulfillment centers. Your primary role will be to own the coordination and execution of installation, commissioning, and performance ramp-up of the product in the field, allowing the engineering and product team to focus on system performance improvement and optimization. You'll also be responsible for driving continuous improvement ideas into both the deployment cycle time (safety, quality, and productivity) and detailing engineering design improvements to the hardware engineering and product teams to simplify the installation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support metrics for the program - Collaborate with BI/Data Engineering teams to drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources to continually improve quality - Review information from multiple sources to confirm data integrity - Provide clear and timely reporting of key performance metrics across internal & external stakeholders

Requirements

- 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment - 50% of travel is required for this role - Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Participate in team-lifts for items over 50lbs. - Stand/walk for up to 12 hours - Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud - Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments) - Continuously climb and descend stairs

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field - Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineer tools
