Position Overview

As a remote data entry clerk with customer service responsibilities, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Your primary duties will include accurately entering customer data and order information, processing customer requests and account updates, handling inbound customer service calls and emails, and resolving billing inquiries and account issues. You'll also be responsible for generating reports and data summaries, maintaining customer confidentiality and data security, and providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, email, and chat.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer data and order information into our database systems

  • Process customer requests and account updates in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handle inbound customer service calls and emails, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Update customer records and databases to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Resolve billing inquiries and account issues, providing clear explanations and solutions to customers
  • Generate reports and data summaries to support business decisions and operations
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and data security, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide exceptional support to customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a positive and personalized experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience in data entry or customer service, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy, using a reliable and ergonomic keyboard
  • Strong communication and phone skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Quiet home office with reliable internet, dedicated workspace, and minimal distractions
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Technical Requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of $30-40/hour, based on experience and performance

Schedule
