Job Summary

As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of blithequark.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded

  • Utilize a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the registration process
  • Label and handle luggage, performing lifting tasks that involve moving items from scales to transport lines
  • Practice security-conscious behaviors in every functional cycle and method
  • Use computers to assist customers with seat availability, door declarations, flight status, checking and handling luggage, and managing the loading process
  • Work to prepare aircraft for departure, lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Practice health-conscious behaviors in every functional cycle and method
  • Work in open areas and have the ability to understand and answer various questions regarding travel information
  • Accompany unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport, as needed
  • Represent the airline for significant periods of time

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse individuals
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to lift packs or items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use proper language, tone, and articulation
  • Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated commitment to protecting individual information and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working in a team environment and adapting to changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of airline operations and procedures
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, including Spanish
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers
