Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to lead the methodology and execution of incorporating new datasets that drive investigation and information science for our Client Experience association. You will be responsible for consolidating, organizing, and automating information collections from various sources, including contact centers, e-commerce, conditional, store networks, and functional sources. Additionally, you will design and implement data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data governance.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and develop powerful, user-friendly applications, reports, and dashboards using Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Microstrategy and SAS.

• Collaborate with leaders to identify needs and gather requirements, providing solutions by building tools, reports, and predictive models.
• Automate reporting on an ad-hoc basis.
• Explore and report best practices and standards for utilizing our BI tools, providing insights on industry trends.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data governance.
• Design and implement data quality control measures, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, informing business decisions and driving customer engagement.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
• Experience with BI tools like Microstrategy and SAS.
• Proficiency in SQL (ideally BigQuery) and Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience with data streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
