Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team in Chelmsford, USA. As a key member of our data engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based data pipelines and information systems that meet the needs of our business and information science teams. Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and information architectures to collect, process, and normalize data that meets business and information science needs
- Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Collaborate with information science teams to integrate data and incorporate calculations and models into automated processes
- Design and implement data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Ensure data quality and accessibility by integrating data from various sources
- Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and recommend solutions
- Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach given the requirements of the model or use case
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering and information architecture
- 5+ years of experience with SQL
- 5+ years of experience with Python
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with the healthcare industry and its data requirements
Skills and Competencies
* Strong programming skills in Python or other major languages
- Experience with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Beam, Apache Spark)
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
