Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable data systems that support our business growth. You'll work closely with our data science, engineering, and product teams to develop and deploy data pipelines, data warehouses, and machine learning models that drive business insights and decision-making. Responsibilities

* Design and implement scalable data systems, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and machine learning models

  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to develop and deploy data solutions that drive business growth
  • Work with large datasets, including data ingestion, processing, and storage
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code is maintainable, efficient, and scalable
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our data systems and processes
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive team growth and development

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and architecture
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Scala, or Python
  • Experience with data processing frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Flink
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or GCP
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with machine learning, natural language processing, or computer vision
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery
  • Experience with containerization, using tools like Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment
