Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Call Center, you will be responsible for providing accurate information and courteous assistance to our customers, helping them manage their student loans. You will work from the comfort of your own home, using our state-of-the-art technology to connect with customers across the United States. Your success will depend on your ability to work productively as a team player, deliver superior customer service, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Utilize our customer relationship management (CRM) system to track customer interactions and update records accurately
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve customer satisfaction
  • Adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements for Applicants

* High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

  • Customer Service Work Experience, 2 years (Required)
  • Call Center Work Experience, 2 years (Preferred)
  • Wired internet, not wireless/Wi-Fi (Required)
  • Minimum Internet connection speed of at least 10mbps (Required, may run test during phone interview if chosen)
  • Proficient office and computer skills, including:

+ 10-key + Windows + Microsoft Excel + Word + Outlook

  • Minimum 40-45 WPM typing speed (Required, will run test during in-person interview, if chosen)
  • English (Required)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust 5C Background Investigation after hire (Details provided during interview, if chosen)

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work independently, with supervisory guidance, and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Strong typing skills, with a minimum of 40-45 WPM
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Bilingual English/Spanish

  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Familiarity with student loan services or financial industry
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices
