About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be the face of our company, interacting with customers from all over the country and providing them with personalized support and assistance. You will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and building strong relationships with our customers. The majority of our Customer Service Representatives work from the comfort of their own homes, while others prefer to work in our call centers. Regardless of your preferred work environment, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and be provided with all the necessary equipment, including a laptop, monitor, and keyboard, to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer customer phone calls to assist with placing orders from our catalog or online store
  • Respond to customer questions about products and orders, providing accurate and helpful information
  • Become knowledgeable about the wide range of products offered by blithequark, including our unique and hard-to-find goods
  • Build strong relationships with customers, engaging them in conversation and providing personalized support and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and improve overall customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be a resident of Vermont, with the ability to work from home or in one of our call centers
  • Must have a reliable internet connection with a speed of at least 30mbps
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse, with the ability to learn new computer applications quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong knowledge of our products and services, or the ability to learn quickly
