Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures that drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures that drive business insights and decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data solutions that meet those needs
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with data science teams to integrate data and models into automated processes
- Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and recommend solutions
- Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach given the requirements of the model or use case
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in cloud and big data technologies
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with healthcare industry data, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and data quality standards
