Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in enhancing the patient experience at Ascension Via Christi Hospital Pittsburg. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders to collect information, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service. You will be the face of blithequark, building trust and rapport with patients and families, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and compassionate manner.

Key Responsibilities

* Work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders to collect information, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Collect patient and insurance information, using multiple screens and programs to input data accurately and efficiently.
  • Work across multiple programs and typing as quickly as patients can talk, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist patients who may be very ill or worried, providing emotional support and listening carefully to ease their anxiety.
  • Build rapport with patients and families, asking follow-up questions and providing clear and concise information to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work in a team environment, collaborating with clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and best practices in patient registration and experience enhancement.

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED

  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with clinicians and other stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient registration or experience enhancement

  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and procedures
  • Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
