Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time remote data entry clerk to work 30 hours per week, with two available shifts: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM. As a data entry clerk, you will be responsible for entering data from various sources, verifying accuracy, and maintaining databases. You will also be expected to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality and data security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

* Data Entry: Enter data from various sources, such as paper documents, forms, spreadsheets, or digital records, into computer databases or software systems.

  • Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data entered by verifying and correcting any errors or inconsistencies.
  • Data Verification: Review and validate data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Data Maintenance: Update and maintain existing databases by adding, editing, or deleting records as necessary.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency across databases.
  • Data Security: Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information while handling data.
  • Reporting: Generate reports or summaries from databases as requested by management or team members.
  • Efficiency: Work efficiently to meet data entry deadlines and targets, especially in high-volume data entry positions.
